We’ve taught plenty of families around Geylang East over the years, and most of our students come to us through a friend or neighbour who learned with us. Classes are kept small so your coach can actually see what you’re doing and correct it there and then, instead of shouting across a busy pool.
We have slots through the week, mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends, so it’s easy to fit lessons around school or work. Just let us know what suits and we’ll arrange it.
Coaching in Geylang East
Geylang East Swimming Complex has a lap pool and a teaching pool, with flexible opening hours that make it easy to find a time to swim. It's a straightforward, welcoming place, whether you're coming for lessons or just a swim to cool off.
Our instructors have taught learners of every age here, from three-year-olds to retirees. We plan each lesson around where you actually are, keep the groups small, and won't rush anyone into deep water before they're ready. The goal is steady, confident progress, done in a way you'll enjoy.
Swimming Lessons for Special Needs
We run separate programmes for toddlers, kids, adults, ladies and swimmers with special needs, because each group learns differently. A nervous adult needs a very different approach from a lively five-year-old, and our coaches adjust accordingly.
Not sure which class suits you or your child? Just put the age and current ability into the form below and we’ll recommend a good starting point.

SwimSafer and Beyond
Already comfortable in the water and want to go further? We coach stroke technique, breathing and endurance too, whether you're preparing for a SwimSafer test, a school requirement, or just want to swim proper laps without running out of breath.
There's plenty of lane space at Geylang East for training. Our coaches give honest, practical feedback and set you clear things to practise between lessons, so every session moves you forward rather than just going through the motions.
We prepare students for every stage of the national SwimSafer programme, from Stage 1 through to Gold. If your child needs to clear a particular stage for school, tell us and we’ll build the lessons around it.
Water safety is the part that matters most to us. Even if you never plan to compete, knowing how to stay calm and keep yourself afloat is a skill worth having for life.
Swimming Lessons at Geylang East Swimming Complex
Geylang East Swimming Complex is a familiar, unfussy pool right in the neighbourhood, and it’s a comfortable place to learn. Our lessons are open to everyone, from little ones having their first splash to adults finally getting round to learning.
One-to-one attention
Everyone learns at their own pace, so we keep classes small and shape each session around the swimmer. A beginner spends time getting comfortable and breathing right; a stronger swimmer works on stroke and stamina. Nobody’s stuck doing drills that are too easy or too hard for them.
SwimSafer preparation
The national SwimSafer programme is the benchmark for water competency in Singapore, and we coach every stage of it. We teach the survival and stroke skills each stage tests for, and tell you honestly when you’re ready to attempt it.
Coaches who actually teach
Our instructors are certified and genuinely good with people. They explain things simply, stay patient with anxious swimmers, and give feedback you can use. Plenty of our adult students came in scared of the water and now swim comfortably.
Facilities for everyone
With a lap pool for training and a teaching pool for beginners, there’s a suitable space whatever your level. The complex is well kept and easy to get in and out of, which makes coming for lessons that much simpler.

Kids’ Swimming Lessons in Geylang East
Teaching a child to swim comes down to two things: keeping them safe and keeping them keen. Our kids’ classes at Geylang East balance both, enough structure that they genuinely learn technique, and enough play that they look forward to coming.
Learning that doesn’t feel like a chore
Kids learn fastest when they’re enjoying themselves, so we build games and small challenges into the lessons. Underneath the fun, they’re picking up real skills, breath control, floating, kicking, and a comfortable relationship with the water.
Proper skills, in the right order
We cover the fundamentals in a sensible sequence so nothing gets skipped. Safety habits first, then floating and gliding, then strokes. Each child moves up when they’re ready, not because the calendar says so.
Coaches kids respond to
Our instructors know how to hold a child’s attention and how to draw out a shy one. They’re firm on safety and generous with praise, which is usually what gets results.
Building real confidence
Some children take to water immediately; others need coaxing. We meet each child where they are and let them go at their own pace, so their confidence is genuine rather than forced.
Celebrating the small wins
First float, first full width, first time putting their face under without fuss, we make a point of marking these. That sense of progress is what keeps kids coming back.
We’d love to help your child learn in a way they’ll enjoy. Fill in the form below and we’ll suggest a class.
Adult Swimming Lessons in Geylang East
It’s never too late to learn. Plenty of our students are adults, some starting from zero, others wanting to finally swim properly instead of just getting by. No judgement, no crowd of kids watching, just steady progress at your own pace.
Lessons built around you
Adult learners arrive with all sorts of goals and comfort levels, so we tailor the coaching. Want to get over a fear of water, learn freestyle from scratch, or fix a stroke that’s always felt awkward? We focus on what matters to you.
Getting comfortable first
If water makes you anxious, you’re far from alone, lots of adults feel that way. Our coaches take it slowly and won’t rush you. Comfort comes first, and the technique follows once you’re relaxed.
Cleaner, easier strokes
If you can already swim a bit, we work on making it efficient, better breathing, a smoother stroke, more distance without gasping. Small fixes often make a surprisingly big difference.
Reaching your goal
Whatever you’re aiming for, a continuous lap, general fitness, or an event, we set a realistic plan and keep you moving toward it, session by session.
Something you’ll keep doing
Beyond technique, we want you to actually enjoy swimming, for exercise, for a bit of calm, as something you’ll keep up long after the lessons end. Most of our adult students carry on for years.

Toddler Swimming Lessons in Geylang East
Getting little ones used to water early pays off later, and it should be gentle and fun. Our toddler classes at Geylang East are all about safe, happy first experiences in the pool, with close supervision and plenty of encouragement.
A gentle first splash
For most toddlers this is their first real time in a pool, so we keep it playful and unhurried. Through songs, games and guided play, they get used to the feel of water and start building coordination, with no pressure.
At this age it isn’t about technique. It’s about a positive, unafraid relationship with water that sets them up well for proper lessons later on.
Made for little ones
Everything is pitched at a toddler’s attention span, short activities, plenty of variety, and lots of repeating the bits they love. When they enjoy it, they come back happy and keep progressing.
Safety above everything
Toddler classes are kept small, always closely supervised, and held in appropriate water depths. Our coaches are first-aid and CPR trained, so parents can relax knowing their child is in careful hands.
That peace of mind matters. Children learn best when they feel safe, and so do the parents watching from the side.
A warm, patient setting
Our instructors are calm and gentle with the youngest swimmers, moving at each child’s pace and cheering every little step. It makes for a friendly, low-stress environment toddlers warm to quickly.
Keeping parents in the loop
Parents are part of this. We’ll share simple things you can do to reinforce what your child is learning, and keep you updated on how they’re getting on. It works best as a team effort.
If you’d like your toddler to get comfortable in the water, we’d be glad to help. Send us a message below.
Ladies’ Swimming Lessons in Geylang East
Some women prefer to learn in a women-only setting, and we’re happy to arrange that. Our ladies’ classes at Geylang East offer a comfortable, relaxed space to learn or improve, whatever your age or reason for wanting to swim.
A comfortable space
We know some women feel self-conscious about learning to swim, especially as adults. Our ladies’ classes are set up to take that away, supportive coaching, no pressure, and a friendly atmosphere where being a beginner is completely fine.
Lessons that fit your goals
Whether you’re stepping into a pool for the first time or brushing up strokes from years ago, we adjust the lessons to suit you. There’s no fixed pace you have to keep up with.
Good for body and mind
Swimming is one of the gentlest ways to stay fit, easy on the joints and great for stress. Many of our ladies’ students come as much for the calm and the exercise as for the swimming itself.
Learn at your own pace
We move at a speed you’re comfortable with and celebrate progress as it comes. The aim is for you to feel capable and confident in the water, not to rush through a syllabus.
A friendly group
Our ladies’ classes often turn into a nice little community, familiar faces, some encouragement, the odd friendship. It makes coming to lessons something to look forward to.
